Key responsibilities:
This is a sales role that requires a confident and friendly person with experience in winning quality property listings and converting them to successful sales.
As well as winning instructions and conducting viewings, the role would require excellent negotiation skills in order to progress sales from point of offer to completion, including the ability to multi-task and demonstrate excellent organisational skills. You will be expected to meet targets and provide referrals for associated services that we offer

We are looking to recruit an Apprentice on the National Apprenticeship Scheme for our Woodingdean office. The role is a full time position and will lead to a nationally recognised qualification through a level 2 apprenticeship in Property Services. The apprenticeship will last 1 year to 18 months depending on the candidate and could lead to a permanent position for the right person.
The role is primarily an administrative one and has plenty of opportunity to benefit from Maslen Estate Agent’s renowned in-house training to enable you to develop a successful and rewarding career in estate agency.
The main duties will include support for the sales team, typing property brochures, window cards and web and press advertising, printing and emailing, filing, photocopying, franking post and taking photographs along with other general office duties. In time you will be trained to answer the phone and meet and greet clients.
The successful candidate will have GCSE grades A – C, be highly motivated and energetic with a desire to succeed and do well. They must ensure a high level of attention to detail and be proud of their quality of work.
Apprenticeship starting salary of £3.50 per hour depending on any previous experience paid monthly plus all training.
We are looking to recruit an independent mortgage advisor to join our expanding team. The successful candidate will be CeMap qualified and have previous sales experience.
You will be highly motivated, flexible, enthusiastic and be able to work well under pressure. You will be self motivated and will want to exceed expectations. We are
looking for a new team member to join our growing lettings department. Previous
experience in lettings is not necessary, however being computer literate will
be a requirement as our systems are online, as well as a full clean driving
license. If you have previous experience in a customer service role this would
be an advantage. We are looking for a well organised individual to join,
someone who can work as a team member but is equally fine to work on their own
and using their own initiative
Job Role
The role
offers variety, so no two days are the same. You will be carrying out visits to
properties to check they are okay and being well looked after, arranging
viewing appointments with tenants to visit prospective new homes, and at times
then meeting them to show them round. You will liaise with trades people and
professionals and arrange appointments for them to visit properties as an when
works are required as well as carrying out administration duties supporting the
team to ensure that we can provide the very best care to our landlords and
tenants equally.
