Forget the chain restaurants you always end up at. There are more eateries in Brighton & Hove than anywhere else in the country - 1 restaurant for every 250 people! Here’s a selection of our favourites.
It might not look like much from the outside, but Burger Brothers is a multi-award winning restaurant. In 2017, it was voted best burger in the UK! Every burger is freshly cooked to order, and they have a strict no chips policy. But don’t worry, you don’t need them.
As well as a great selection of craft beer, The Pond has Taiwanese style street food by Baby Bao. The steamed buns and large selection of small plates are absolutely delicious, and they do meat free Mondays.
Inspired by Naples, the pizza dough at Fatto A Mano is made fresh on site everyday, and proved for a minimum of 24 hours. With one restaurant in Brighton and one in Hove, this neighbourhood pizzeria serves fresh and authentic Italian food.
Situated just up from Hove seafront, this family-friendly pub will have something for everyone. The delicious dishes range from burgers to pies to roast dinners. Plus, in the summer it has a beautiful beer garden, and a wood burning stove in the winter.
An iconic and acclaimed restaurant in Brighton, Terre à Terre serves an entirely vegetarian menu which is “more about indulgence than abstinence”. Situated in the historic lanes, it’ll change the way you view vegetarian cuisine forever.
Indian culture, local produce and traditional methods are what The Chilli Pickle is all about. It’s located in the heart of Brighton, serving nationally acclaimed Indian food. Yum.
