"This flat is in a lovely development in Westdene and is, in our view, in the most perfect location within the city of Brighton. It’s what attracted us to buy it over 6 years ago, especially as there are not very many properties like this available; either in this area, or the rest of Brighton! It is very accessible for commuting as it’s near to the main roads but far enough away that you don’t get constant traffic noise. It’s just a 2 minute walk to the local bus stop and local shops, and only a 10 minute bus or car journey into the city centre and the main train station. That said, the countryside is just a 10 minute walk in the other direction which has been perfect for long walks or cycle rides for our daily exercise throughout the pandemic (especially with the added bonus of being able to stick the bikes in the secure cycle store downstairs afterwards!). Through the full length windows on one side of the flat, you can see a beautiful little play park and beyond that is a small field which local dog walkers use. It has a real community feel and we have seen some stunning sunsets from the comfort of the living room!
