What the owners say

We moved into this house in 1999 as a large family of seven. Initially my son had the small downstairs room and loved his little den. With his captains bunk wardrobe and chest of drawers he still had enough room to play. The master room held 3 single beds plus wardrobes and drawers and the girls loved that they didn't have to have bunk beds anymore. The second upstairs room was my eldest daughters. With her first double bed she had her own little haven away from the little ones. She also had a computer desk on the landing to do her homework at. The garden was a godsend with sunshine all day. We started on the top patio in the morning and gradually moved down the garden as the sun moved round. We always said we would put an arbour in the bottom corner so we could catch the last Ray's of sunshine. The one thing we didn't get round to. The kids loved having such a large more or less flat garden to play in. Sadly now the children have grown and flown the nest and the house is way too big for 2 of us to rattle round in. It has always been a happy family home and having the local shops about a minute away and the doctors surgery and bus stop at the bottom of the road and local school nearby it has served us well.
