'I moved from Southampton to this house 43 years ago with my wife, three daughters and assorted pets. The first impression we had, of a lovely family house on a hill, with wonderful views over the area, have stayed with us throughout all the years.
For us, the location, with the Downs just 5 minutes up the road, the sea-front near, and lovely Brighton only a short bus-ride away, has been perfect. I may be biased, but the bonus has been that Chorley Avenue is the friendliest road in Saltdean.
All three of our daughters attended local schools, and as teenagers, enjoyed having the downstairs of the house almost to themselves (except for meals!) Location:

Saltdean is situated just off the coast road and adjacent to Rottingdean Village. Chorley Avenue is just off Westmeston Avenue and being in an elevated position you have great views over Saltdean to farmland/Downland.
