David Maslen M.N.A.E.A. - Director

David is the driving force behind Maslen Estate Agents and is passionate about spearheading an independent agency that champions innovation and customer service. Having worked for one of the largest corporate agencies in the country, he established Maslen Estate Agents in 1999 with a vision of an organisation ethos of honesty and integrity, where the customer always comes first.

With an unrivalled knowledge of the local housing market, David has successfully grown the business with four branches across the city. He is still hands on and takes an active role in his staff's development to ensure standards are upheld. David is also treasurer of the Brighton & Hove Estate Agents Association.

Andrew Mercer M.N.A.E.A. - Negotiator

Joining Maslen Estate Agents straight from school back in 2004, Andrew is now a Member of the National Association of Estate Agents having passed all four of the exams, as well as his NVQ level 3. His responsibilities include writing up property details, showing round prospective buyers and supporting the senior staff. Andrew is also responsible for co-ordinating feedback on all viewings and ensuring it is conveyed to the client. He gets a real sense of achievement from helping people move and prides himself on exemplary service.

Stephen Clamp M.N.A.E.A. - Trainee Negotiator

Stephen’s focus is on matching properties with potential buyers, conducting viewings and giving feedback to sellers. He joined the organisation in January 2008 as an Office Junior and was promoted to Trainee Negotiator in August 2009, having proved to be a valuable team member. He has benefited from Maslen Estate Agents’ intensive in-house training programme and achieved his National Association of Estate Agents Technical Award in October 2009.

Brighton born and bred, he is very conscientious and likes matching people with their perfect home.

Will Bird - Office Junior

Having joined us in July 2009, Will has proved himself to be invaluable in supporting the sales team in the Lewes Road office. Will is responsible for answering the telephones, booking viewings and registering potential buyer’s details. This is the first step in his career as he trains towards becoming a negotiator with Maslen Estate Agents’ intensive in-house training programme.

Janette Burchett M.N.A.E.A. - Office co-ordinator, Lewes Road

With a long-standing interest in property, Janette has been with Maslen Estate Agents since March 2004. As our most experienced Office Co-ordinator with over fifteen years industry experience, she is responsible for training all new administrative staff and enjoys providing ongoing guidance to the other Office Co-ordinators in the company. She also ensures the smooth-running of the Lewes Road office and provides essential secretarial support to David and the sales team. She achieved her National Association of Estate Agents Technical Award in October 2009.

Graham Griffin CeMAP - Independent Mortgage Advisor

Graham is responsible for delivering independent mortgage advice to clients across our four city branches. With over 30 years experience in financial services, he still takes real care and joy in finding people the right mortgages, life cover and buildings and contents insurance. He prides himself on his passion, professionalism and building long-term relationships with his clients. Graham has been CeMap qualified for over 10 years.
